Golf is heavy enough without a famous father who has strained hard to match as well as the best. Tiger Woods must be watching it takes place in the next few years.
Jack Nickus has already seen.
A few hours before Scottie Scheffler started to win the memorial to the second year in the second year, Nickuaus asked about another big victory that week. Charlie Woods, the 16-year-old son of the largest names in golf won his first American junior name of the Golf Association.

“Gary went down 18. And run away to the car, so he didn’t have to talk to reporters for about two years,” he said. “Sports Illustrated said they wanted to do the story. We said,” No coverage, none of that. “They put it right on the cover. It was not nice they did.”
Nickulaus also thought that publicity was over the top when his grandson, GT, made ace in a parent.
“These are the kinds of things you really need to try to avoid with the kids,” he said. “It’s hard for them. He’s even today. Charlie is a nice little player. He has a beautiful little golf swing. Does he want to follow his father? Do he understand what is happening?”
Woods was in the Detroit area last summer when his son qualified for American Junior Amateur. Charlie attracted the largest gallery, she said it was 10 times bigger than a normal crowd for that event. Or were they there to see her father?
Ickulaus also knows that feeling.

“My kids played because they wanted to play, not because I wanted to play,” Niclaus said. “It was a kind of my reign. Don’t play golf because of me, play golf because that’s what you want to do. They wanted to do.
“Then they understood over a period of time, they will not come to where they want to come, and they decided to do other things.”
Woods, 16, won team taylormade invitation on Wednesday in Streamsong Resort.
Woods was known for dominance in each age group while working in the records of records with three direct American juniors and three direct amateur. As the underlines are going, it is up there with its 142 in a row in a row, and its victory of 15 shots in the US open.
He did not try to qualify for his first American open until he was free from the first phase when he was 16 years old. On Lake Merced in San Francisco and failed to reach the pebble beach for the American beach.
