The expelled lawmaker will finally face the court and his criminal cases after going into hiding for two years
MANILA, Philippines – After his deportation from Timor-Leste back to the Philippines, former lawmaker Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves Jr. will be detained in a National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) facility as he faces trial for multiple murder cases.
Teves will be held under custody inside the NBI building situated in the Bureau of Corrections compound in Muntinlupa City.
The former lawmaker faces multiple criminal cases over the killing of former Negros Oriental Roel Degamo in 2023, and for the 2019 killings in Negros Oriental.
