Gervonta Davis surprisingly posted a “good luck message” to Naoya Inoue on X today, wishing unified super bantamweight champion Yoo Jun Kim a successful title defense this Friday at Ariake Arena Koto-ku in Tokyo, Japan.

‘Monster’ Inoue won’t need much luck to defeat successor Kim (21-2-2, 13 KOs). In 122.
After Naoya’s original opponent, Sam Goodman, was cut and had to pull out of the fight two weeks ago, fans are questioning why the team chose Ino Kim as his replacement. Surely a better fighter could have been chosen than Kim. It’s pretty sneaky that Gervonta is trying to get into Inoue’s good graces so he can fight him.
A lot of people find it strange that Tank is working for Inoue (28-0, 25 KOs) because he’s wanted to fight him for ages. A top-ranked pound-for-pound fighter, Naoya, 31, has shown no interest in moving up to lightweight to take Gervonta’s WBA belt.
Tank does not need to waste time Trying to gain favor With Inoue, if it goes well for him, hopefully moving up to 130 or 135 for a mega-money fight. The Japanese star showed off his lashes. He doesn’t even want to move up to 126. If he doesn’t want to move up to featherweight, if he’s not willing to take on the killer sharks in that weight class, he certainly won’t even move up to catch a predator like Tank. Davis has no chance of winning.
In the year On November 7, 2019, see what an elderly Nonito Donaire did to Naoya six years ago, breaking his right orbital bone, cutting him above his eye and breaking his nose. Inoue looks like he’s in a train wreck. He’s all messed up. Since then, Naoya hasn’t taken any risks in his career.
Yo NAOYA INOUE good luck fam..
