Houston Rockets 2024-25 Fantasy BASKETBALL TEASE RECEP: Forever and Ever, Amen

While the Playoffs of the NBA are in full evolution, now is a good time to raise the fantasy basketball season for the 30 teams.

In the following weeks, we will provide a recap for each team, starting with the team with the worst record and ending with the NBA champion in June.

Today we are looking at a team that excelled thanks to a young and talented young group.

Rockets of Houston 2024-2025

Register: 52-30 (2nd, west)

Offensive rating: 114.9 (12th)

Defense rating: 110.3 (5th)

Clean rating: 4.6 (7th)

Rhythm: 99.03 (18)

2025 NBA Draft SPECTS: 10th selection, 59th choice

The rockets exceeded expectations with a season of 52 wins and the number 2 seed at a highly competitive western conference. Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun continued to play well, while Amen Thompson had a rupture campaign and looks like a cornerstone of the franchise.

Houston played a strong defense thanks to the length, speed and athletics up and down the list, and the rockets had a Top-12 offense led by Thompson and Fred Vanvleet as primary facilitators.

Houston’s depth and 10 Top-10 selection in the next NBA project points to the team that made an offer for a superstar this summer, and out-of-season movements of the rockets could drastically remodel the list.

We claim the fantastic performances of last season and look forward until 2025-26.

Fantasy prominent: Amen Thompson

Sophomore Slump? I have never heard of it. The second -year man made a significant leap on 2 of the year 2, showing his ability to operate as a point of advance and has a significant impact on the defensive end of the floor.

Thompson promised the races of race through 14.1 points, 8.2 boards, 3.8 assists, 1.4 robberies, 1.3 blocks and only 2.0 changes while shooting 55.7% from the flat. Its mark of 68.4% of the charity and only 0.4 triples per game were the only lacks in a season of fantasy otherwise.

As an elite defender and defender, Thompson has a unique set of skills that lends himself well in the world of fantasy hoops. He registered two -digit assists four times and two -digit boards 24 times. It accumulated 20 doubles and three three-pointers along the way.

Thompson established new one game marks with 33 points against the Celtics on January 27, 16 rebounds (twice) against the Lakers on January 5 and the Cavs on January 22, 11 assists three times and seven thefts against the heat on March 21.

Athletic Young Forward finished its second season in the 55th place in fantasy value by the game, it is place in its team. He will turn 23 next season, and his best basketball is in front of him. If Houston continues from Fred Vanvleet in the low season, Thompson could see more running like a facilitator, just sweetening his fantastic attractiveness.

Thompson is an easy selection by half a round in fantasy drafts 2025-26, and could easily beat his ADP and end in the first 25.

Fantasy revelation: Tari Eason

Eason enjoyed the most productive season of his three -year career, with an average of 12 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.7 robberies, 0.9 blocks, 1.1 triples and 1.1 changes for 24.9 minutes per game. It fired 48.7% from the ground and 76% of the charity.

After running in just 22 games a season ago due to injury, Eason recorded 57 games by 2024-25. It started 16 and went well in these contests, passing through 5.1 points, 6.8 boards, 1.9 assists, 1.9 robberies, 1.3 blocks and 1.2 triples.

The LSU product registered a maximum of six race swines on November 20 against the pacers, and left a maximum of 30 points against the Mavericks on March 14.

Eason has athletics and elite defense, and can be effective when given the opportunity. The only thing that prevents you from being a half -round regular fantasy option is play time. If you can win more minutes in the rotation of the rockets by 2025-26, it can be a quality collaborator.

Fantasy disappointment: Fred Vanvleet

Although Vanvleet finished 67th place for fantasy by game, it was a disappointing end, considering that it ended in the first 25 in five consecutive seasons and within the first 20 in four in a row.

FVV promised 14.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.6 robberies, 0.4 blocks and 2.7 triples while committing only 1.5 shifts. Vanvleet demolished 37.8% of its field features, 81% of its features of the charity and 34.5% of its three -point attempts. The percentage of the field target was the second lowest brand of his career and the percentage of free launch was the lowest.

Vanvleet appeared in 60 games and recorded 35.7 minutes per game. The minutes, the points, the assists and the rebounds were their lowest brands since the 2018-19 season when he was with Toronto.

Vanvleet could include $ 44.89 million by 2025-26, Vanvleet could be included in any commercial package Houston sends for a superstar to combine contracts.

Bill Simmons floated the idea of Houston Trading Vanvleet, Jabari Smith Jr., Tari Eason and the number 10 selection of Jaylen Brown and Jrue Holiday. It is a wild proposal, but this is just an idea of the type of agreement that we could see in Vanvleet included this summer.

Fantasy/look recapitulations

Alperen Sengun:

Sengun continued his career as “Domantas Sabonis Lite”, ending with averages of 19.1 points, 4.9 assists, 1.1 robberies, 0.8 blocks, 0.3 triples and a maximum of 10.3 boards. The big man shot 49.6% from the ground, 69.2% of the free launch line and 23.3% of the city center.

The Houston Point Center recorded 76 career games, while its playing time fell 32.5 minutes last season to 31.5 this season. Its fantastic end of 88th place in value per game was its lowest in three campaigns, although not far from its best.

The highlight of his season took place on February 4 against Brooklyn when he fell on December 24 and December 27 against Minnesota when he ended with 38/12/1/1/1.

Sengun should continue to prosper as a half-fantasy center in the round with triple-double down. Direct it in this rank in drafts 2025-26.

Jalen Green:

Green finished its fourth season of the NBA with averages of 21 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.9 robberies and 2.9 triples. Its 42.3/81.3/35.4 a getaway was stopped, but its markings from the charity and from a distance were the best in his career.

Green finished 135th in fantastic value per game, the best end of his career. He showed his durability with a second consecutive campaign of 82 games.

Despite a strong regular season, Green fought a lot in the post -season, going through 13.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.9 triples while shooting 37.2% from the ground, 66.7% of the charity and 29.5% beyond the bow.

Green signed a three-year extension with Houston in October, and is likely to be again in a similar role by 2025-26 that the rockets began by the two guards. It is worth a look at the subsequent rounds of fantasy and takes place to grow if it can improve their efficiency.

Jabari Smith Jr.:

Last season was not excellent for Smith Jr. as he saw his minutes slightly fall to start the campaign and then dry in the playoffs.

The third-year man finished the 2024-25 campaign with averages of 12.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.4 robberies and 0.7 blocks, all the minimums of race. It fired 43.8% from the ground, 82.5% of the charity and 35.4% beyond the bow, while demolished 1.7 triples per game.

The injuries limited the JSJ to 57 low career games. It started only 39 of the after starting each of its appearances during the last two seasons.

In the series of seven games against Golden State, he averaged only 20.4 minutes and did not start a single game. Directing the last year of his contract, the 22-year-old could be an attractive commercial piece in an agreement to secure Giannis Antekounmpo. A landscape change could make wonders for the fantastic attractiveness of Smith Jr.

Dillon Brooks:

Brooks finished his second season in Houston with an average of 14.1 points, 1.7 assists, 0.8 robberies and races in rebounds (3.7) and triples (2.5). It fired 42.9% from the flat (second best mark of his career), 81.8% of the charity and a better 39.7% of career beyond the bow.

Brooks operated as an option of 3 and D for the second place rockets, trying to a maximum of 6.3 triples per game and acting as discomfort in the defensive end.

He scored 36 points on January 27 against the Celtics, leaving his points more in three years and ended only a shy point in his career. In this game, Brooks stressed 10 three race points.

Brooks finished 170th in the fantasy hoops per game, as it offers little out of score and triple. Fantasy managers who look at him in 2025-26 can be targeted with a final selection if production is needed in these categories.

Cam Whitmore:

The second year’s man saw his 18.7-minute play time fall as a new 16.2 in 2024-25. He published 9.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 triples per game in 51 outings.

Whitmore started three games and promised a line of 25/8/2/1 with four triples. The highlight of his season came on April 11 against Lakers when he left on 34/8/1/1/1 with seven triples.

The young striker will be 21 years old during the summer and has a brilliant future if he can play a more significant role in Houston’s rotation.

Reed Sheppard:

Kentucky selection number 3 played a role in its opening campaign, registering 12.6 minutes per game in 52 appearances.

Sheppard promised 4.4 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.7 robberies and 0.9 triples while firing 35.1% from the ground and 81.3% of the charity.

Sheppard played well in three beginnings, with averages of 19.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 4.3 triples. March 3 dropped 25 points to Oklahoma City.

Sheppard can be a solid collaborator if there is a significant minutes, but the significant play time may be difficult to find in 2025-26 due to Houston’s deep rotation.

Steven Adams:

Adams saw a dramatic cut in play time during the 2024-25 campaign, record only 13.9 minutes per game and promise 3.9 points and 5.7 boards.

The big man unveiled his presence with additional minutes in three games, publishing 10 points 9.7 boards, 1.3 robberies and 1.3 blocks for 23.7 minutes.

Adams had a post -season solid and maybe he was auditioning for his next team. It will have reached the open market this season and, surely, will have no problem finding a new team in case you choose to leave the city H.
