Richard Childress Seeking Answers to Kansas -Engine Breakfast for AJ Allmender

ECR -engines closed a case for AJ Allmendener’s blown engine in Kansas Speedway this weekend, a failure that led to the driver’s radio rental against the engine business serving Richard Children’s chair and CEO.

The AllMender’s engine blew to six rounds this weekend. After the engine blew, Allmender on the radio of his team said: “Hey ECR, you (exploding) suck.”

When a team member asked if he had lost an engine, Allmender replied on the radio: “Yes, shocking.”

The engine break was the second of the season for AllMender. It was the only two engine errors for ECR in the Cup series.

ECR offers engines for Kaulig Racing, Richard Childress Racing, Trackhouse Racing and Beard Motorsports.

After dominant performances over the past two years, the exhibition event will have a new format and length.

Childress told NBC Sports in North Wikikesboro on Friday that he should not talk to Allmender yet, but that he had expressed his displeasure with the comments of Allmendender and noticed how other drivers responded to a team’s radio after an engine error.

“The 12 (Ryan Blaney) blew up twice,” Childress said. ‘The 48 (Alex Bowman) blew up (once). They never said anything. This is how you want to run your mouth. ‘

Childress said he wanted to talk to Allmendner when there was a definite answer to the failure of the engine.

“I want to know what happened to the engine,” Childress said. “When (allmendender) jumps out (from the car in Kansas), he doesn’t even know if the belt comes from the oil pump or what.”

The frustrations for the allmender are that the engine error was the second consecutive race it could not complete. A collapse ended his day in the previous race in Texas. The two finishes fell off 15th place in the points to the 25th place in the next weekend’s Coca-Cola 600 on Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Joey Logano won the All-Star race last year, with 199 of 200 rounds.

Danny Lawrence, vice president of alliance operations for ECR engines, told NBC Sports that debris may have caused the problem with the AllMender engine in Kansas this weekend.

Lawrence said, “It was a matter,” Lawrence said. ‘We at RCR and ECR have a quality control section. They struggle to find out exactly what happened. They sent the bearings to analyze, but the initial (cause) looks like a lack of lubrication.

“The engine ran at Darlington. We are not so sure that we did not happen some kind of strange material, something, an oil line or something for (the) lack of lubrication. “

Lawrence said what caused the failure with two of the eight bearings should be known this week.

What could have come to the line is Lawrence uncertain.

Lawrence said: “We have filters on the oil coming, we have filters on the oil coming out,” Lawrence said. ‘It’s so confusing, but Richard holds a strong arm (say)’ I want answers (Kaulig Racing President) Chris Rice and (Team Owner) Matt Kaulig. We are going to know exactly (what happened) and try to make sure it never happens again. ‘
