The NBA Draft Lottery is an important step in reconstructing equipment. Here is everything you need to know:
How does the Lottery of the NBA project work?
The lottery system is how the NBA determines the order project of the teams that do not make the playoffs. It only determines the first 14 elections in the draft and has no impact in the second round. The first four options are determined by the lottery and the elections 5-14 are determined by the inverse classification of whoever remains.
Each lottery team is assigned a number of ping-pong balls, which is determined by the regular classification of the season. Four ping-pong balls will be selected and the combination will determine the first four options.
The NBA Assistant Commissioner, Mark Tatum, will reveal the options in reverse order. As you share the options, it will be easy to determine who has jumped to the first four places, as the teams should say in reverse lottery order.
Last season, the Hawks only had a three percent chance to get the first choice, but they jumped and selected Zaccharie Risacher. In 2016, the lottery did not change the order of the project, which is the first and only time. It is completely random from year to year.
How to see the Lottery of the NBA draft
The lottery will take place on May 12 at 7pm and will be available to see in Espn.
Which team is the best chance of getting the first choice?
Jazz, magicians and Hornets have a 14 percent chance to get the first choice, although jazz has a slight advantage over the other two. Utah had the worst record in the league at 17-65, so the worst they can choose is the fifth.

How have this year’s lottery operations modified?
More than half of the lottery options participated in some type of trade, although not all options will transmit to a different team.
Which team has won the NBA project lottery most times?
The Cavaliers, Clippers and Magic have won the lottery project four times. Cleveland traded one of those options (Andrew Wiggins) before they adapted to them. When Cleveland won the first selection in 2011, they arrived after they purchased the clippers selection in a trade in the previous season. If the clippers would get up to their choice, they could have won it for the fifth time. In 1986, the clippers won the lottery and exchanged the selection at the Cavaliers, so Cleveland made the first election in the project five times.
All three teams have made the playoffs this season, so none of them will win the lottery this season.
Most planned players available
