While some truths remain over time—such as our need for love and connection and the harsh reality that life is a continuous cycle of often recurring triumphs and tragedies—its context evolves with each generation. Just as in 1975, the idea of computers controlling almost every aspect of our daily lives may still have been the stuff of science fiction.
We can’t know for sure what the context will look like 50 years in the future — or what will have become outdated or even inhuman by the time we get there — but we can certainly speculate. Recently, someone on Reddit He asked“What is normal for us in 2025 that by 2075 will be seen as barbaric? (What will make people say,) ‘Wow, people have been doing that for 50 years?’
