How to Watch Sunday’s Cup Race at Texas Motor Speedway: Start time, TV information and again

Several Nascar Cup range stripes at Texas Motor Speedway can be on a 400-mile collision course on the 1.5-mile oval.

Chevrolet won four consecutive cup races in Texas – the longest streak of the track for a manufacturer – with Chase Elliott, Wiliam Byron, Tyler Reddick and Kyle Larson who won the win.

Chase Elliott wants to win his first cup victory since last year’s Texas race, while Ryan Blaney tries to end the recent battle.

Hendrick Motorsports drivers Elliott, Byron and Larson will again be one of the favorites at Texas, where there have been eight different winners in the last eight races dating from the 2019 season. Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch and Austin Dillon could also break the run with a win.

The last six cup races at 1.5 mile tracks were also won by various drivers.

Joey Logano told SiriusXM Nascar Radio that he and Austin Cindric talked about what happened at the end of the stage two on Talladega.

Elliott also tries to take a line for the second year in a row and enter the race in a 37-race drought in point racing (he won the Clash pre-season exhibition at Bowman-Gray Stadium in February). Last year, he ended a winless streak of 42 races.

There were 16 warning flags in the 400-Mile race on April 14, 2024, setting the record in the 25-September 2022 race which was 500 miles.

Legacy Motor Club driver Erik Jones will start his 300th cup.
