Cars of Ryan Preece, Joey Logano disqualified after not at Talladega inspection

Nascar announced on Sunday night that the cars of Ryan Preece and Joey Logano were disqualified for the failure of the inspection after the race.

Preece was second and Logano finished fifth before both cars were disqualified. Preece is now listed as 38th; Logano 39th in the 39 car field. They both only score one point.

Both teams can appeal. If so, an appeal is likely to be held this week.
