Elon Musk’s Trump appearance this afternoon is getting a lot of attention online for a one-armed gesture.
He gestured to his supporters to thank them for helping Trump win. Musk thanked the crowd for “making this happen,” before placing his right hand over his heart and then throwing the same arm directly in front of him in the air.
“My heart goes out to you. Thanks to you, the future of civilization is assured,” he said.
Several users of X, on the social network platform he owns, likened the gesture to a Nazi salute.
Musk has not commented since his earlier appearance at the Capital One Arena rally.
