Kyle Larson – winner: ‘This one is definitely for Jon. He’s just a wonderful guy here. We will miss him. Wish He will be here with us to celebrate, but I know that He is celebrating with us in the Spirit. Just a flawless race at Bristol for the 5 team. Really good car. It was a lot of fun. … a little breath out. I’m so high. Traffic to give it only at the right time;
Denny Hamlin – second: “” You have to give that team and Kyle owed to just a dominant show. Fairly flawless day for him. That was all I had to try to stay with it. Glad I could run him a little. This weekend we all think of Jon Edwards’ family, Al Pearce, Shigeaki Hattori. We have lost many wonderful people in our sport over the past week. Our thoughts are with them. I wish we could have found one more place, but I just tried to keep him honest. ‘
Ty Gibbs – Third: “It’s definitely very nice. We had a very good clean day. It is very happy to have it. It was a reasonable chaotic start to our year. I think we’re back where we’re going to run. Really excited for the future. We have wonderful guys around me. I know we’re able to win. I don’t think I’m too much worried.”
Chase Briscoe – Fourth: ‘It’s nice. Every time you have a turn like last week, you can live on it or continue from it. Good solid day for us. What we had to do was have a good day and clean finish, and that’s what we had. It is definitely nice to have a momentum this week.
Ryan Blaney – Fifth: ‘It was a good risk to take. I thought Jonathan did a good job. ‘ A chance. We didn’t go to win. I ran fifth. At the end of the day, we returned to where we were running, which was good. Got a chance to get a yellow and catch a bunch of guys. A cloth. Wasted.
William Byron – sixth: ‘In general, it was just a long day to get from behind. It didn’t seem like many people would pass, but I felt that we were slowly but surely able to work our way forward. Bristol Motor Speedway had a difficult place for us, so just to get our foot back and put some constant runs back, and I felt like we did it today with the no. 24 Chev. I was very happy.
AJ General – Ninth: “In general, a good race for our No. 16 group. I am proud of the team and how we executed this weekend. We had a fairly consistent car, we were able to run in the top 12 all day, so I have been very proud of it.
Austin Dillon – 10th: “We really arrived at the end. Our no. 3 Chevrolet was just too tight to start the race, and when it moved a kind of up, we had something to run. I wanted us to go a little faster, because I think we could get Chevy in it.
Austin Cindric – 17th: “With many unknowns entering the ties today, I felt that we had adapted fairly quickly in the first phase. We made up a few places and stayed on the lead. I think I could recover from there to the pit stop and got some kind of back and get a decent finish. I still feel like we still need a few adjustments to get this Ford Mustang, where we want to do it, but I’m proud of the done. And it was nice to drive the car with all the people here this weekend. “
