Sam Laporta’s catch in the circus puts the lions back in front

It looks like a shootout is taking place in Detroit.

The Lions fell behind the Leaders just over three minutes after the Leaders took the lead for the first time in the game. The Lions took a 14-10 lead after a stunning catch by Sam Laporta.

Laporta went horizontal and extended his left hand out for a one-handed catch in the back of the end zone. A two-yard score restored the Lions’ lead with 7:44 to play in the first half.

Both teams moved the ball with ease. The Lions have 189 yards and the Leaders 173 in what is shaping up to be an explosive offensive battle for a spot in the NFC title game.
