Denny Hamlin – winner: “There are two people I really love now: my pit staff and Kyle Larson. So there had some help there, so thank you. The put staff did just an incredible job. They were doing it last week. They were all about them this week.”
William Byron – second” Just very proud of my team ‘, Byron Jamie Little told FS1. ” To achieve that level of effort and preparation and have such a car, and that we would do so, it seems to be a perfect race. We are going to lead every shot. So was really proud of it. Those guys can only be aggressive on the other side of the green-flag cycle, and we lost control there. And as soon as we lost control, it was too late to go there again. It sucks. I’m sure it will sting a lot tonight. There are still a lot of positive. It certainly stabs in the moment. “
Christopher Bell – third: ‘It was a confusing race. Even now to think back, I don’t know what to think. At the beginning of the day, the car performance was not wonderful, not in the top 20. We suddenly found that yellow that put me on the front, and I could keep the pace. I don’t know. These cars are very confusing, but had a good performance, and we sat on the back, and it could get out, and we got on the back. Pitstops and start again, and walked away with a top five.
Ryan Blaney – Fifth: ‘I thought we won the race, so I don’t really know. I will have to see how the yellow came out and looked back. We did a good job. ‘ A good strategy call to run for a long time and give us time to run down (Reddick) and many of the guys who were short-lived. So it was a wonderful call and a wonderful car. Just fast and never really the race. The cycle put us back.
Chris Buescher – Sixth: ‘We had a very quick Ford Mustang. I am very proud of everyone. We made some good adjustments after the exercise and got it proper to qualify and really well in the race. The untimely warning just left us for the majority of it, so we clapped our way out of it with some good pit calls. The pit staff had a very good job and we needed a little better than a little. Of the cars, but it’s hard to say.
Ross Chastain – Seventh: “It was a hot one in Darlington today. We worked early in the race to the top 15 with adjustments. We trapped by the one caution in the middle of the race, just after we drew under green. So we had to take the wave around and work our way through the field. “
Ty Gibbs – Ninth: ” Yes, it’s probably nice. I know we’ll get more of it, but it was a good improvement. I’m not too worried; Feel like we’ll be good. Keep getting everyone reps and finding it out. Excited for what the future holds. Know that we will be good. “
Austin Cindric – 11th: ‘Obviously, the stage points at the beginning with a wonderful starting place. We had a good start, but unfortunately the caution came out and we caught a shot on the well cycle, and we tried the whole race to recover from it. But we were very good at short runs. We fell pretty hard on long runs, but Brian and the guys never gave up with the adjustment, and I fought the car through the car. Stains.
Daniel Suarez – 15th: ‘The no. 99 Chevy was still now. The strategy just didn’t go on the way a few times. We were just average. We were not wonderful. We will go to work again next weekend and get ready for Bristol. ‘
Ty Dillon – 16th: ‘I’m just proud of our effort. We started behind, started in a hole, and then touched us halfway to the front and had a problem on the Pit Road. We could fall back again. I just appreciate the team’s resilience and spiritual strength to keep me calm. I feel like I was about to lose my mind a few times, but everyone just had a little phase and had a few times. Speed.
AJ General – 18th: “Frustrating second half of the race. We were very good in the first half. The tenth place in the first phase. I thought we were even better than that, honestly. Then the track changed, and we just lost the balance, warnings we hurt at the wrong time. When we started the race, I thought we would be sure.”
Shane from Gisbergen – 20th: “The day started pretty well for the No. 88 Chevrolet team. We moved forward. We learned a lot, and it was quite nice. And then in the middle of the race lost the handling of the car. We struggled to get it back and get my love, which was a shame.
Michael McDowell – 29th: “It was a difficult day for the No. 71 Chevrolet team. We started the race in the top 10, but very early we felt we missed the balance. Our team fought hard all day, but we just never had a speed in the car. Some days you just missed it, and today we were one of the days.
Josh Berry – 36th: ‘It always comes from (turn 2) here at Darlington, and it looked just like me and (Tyler Reddick) came together. It’s hard to say somehow when he’s up a bit, or I was a little too low. Obviously, you are trying to keep it out of the fence and see the hump and everything. Throughout the race and a break on that green flag series to come up, but I thought our car was going on well and I think we had a good finish. ‘
