San Antonio – Brian Harman has lunched wind and cold with key birds on the back nine Sundays in Valero Texas Open, closing with 3-over 75 to win three silence, their first title from the open championship.
Harman began a final circle with a three-video leadership and soon became a narrow battle with Andrew Novak, who went on the first PGA tour and a place on the masters.
Harman never lost his lead, although he fell to a snapshot with Bogey at 8 and double God in the ninth hole when he had to take a sentence after the extracted Tee, and he could still just improve the sailing.
But he opened a 15-foot bird in 12. A hole to give him a breathing room, and he got up and down from the bunker on the 14th. Item, and his platoon was back into three shots.
He followed that with pairs of Bogen, but in the end he left the mistakes in Novak.
“Just proud of how I file these conditions,” Harman said. “This golf course gave me everything I wanted today and I’m happy to go out to the top.”
Novak, two shots standing with two games, have tricked 17. With a bad chip and a couple-5 18. With a bad drive. He shot 76 and fell into a third with Maverick McNeadyly (72).
Ryan Gerard did only his only Bogey in the final hole for 69 to finish the runners. It was just one of only seven rounds under a couple. In TPC San Antonio.
Harman was still under pressure with two game holes, especially as they return back to God. His shooting for Tee refused through bunker and in rough, and he ordered about 12 feet for stress.
Novak rode over green, but his shelf-like hit slope and rolled on his feet. His bird chip ran 6 feet and missed the putt to fall three behind him.
18. Novak pulled Tee fired in a barren tree area and a peeling brush. Return to the waterway, he tried to get to the green and narrowed closely into the stream. He had to stand on the balm to play on green and missed 10 feet.
Patrick Fishburn had an eagle-bird for 68 and was part of a large group that was tied to a fifth. Eagle came to 17. Hole, where Fishburn a 105-foot opening. It was the longest road he did on the PGA tour of 2008. Years.
Harman struggled from his great breakthrough in Hoylake and was on the edge to fall out of the Top 50. Now he passes to masters with a lot necessary victory.

Adding to severe conditions was his mind on a close family friend, Cathy Dowdy. She spent a time in which she helped save Harman’s six-year-old son of Riff Stream on Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, last October, while his family was on vacation.
“I just play with a hard heart today. Ms. Cathy, he doesn’t work so well,” Harman said. “I’m just thinking about her all day.”
The conditions were so heavy that four players, including Tommy Fleetwood, failed to interrupt 80, and the course played in the average score of 74.8.
