Pant’s return to the Delhi team saw him score 255 runs in five matches against Australia in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy at an average of 28.33 at 59.02 in nine innings. His contribution included a half-century and helped him finish as the sixth-highest run-getter in the series.
