Sean McVay has no problem with Jared Verse’s views on Eagles fans

Rams defensive end Jared Verse is immediate took up the mantle once held by Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang and Santa Claus, with his comments about Eagles fans.

Coach Sean McVay has no problem with that.

“He told his truth,” McVay told reporters Friday when asked about Verse’s comments. “I ride with the Rams.”

Not every truth should be told so openly. But really, what else could McVay say about it publicly?

He told the Los Angeles Times verse, “I hate Eagles fans. They are so boring. I hate Eagles fans. . . . When I see that green and white I hate it. I get really upset. Like I’m really hot.”

Privately, McVay likely advised other Rams players not to share similar sentiments. At least not until after the game is over and their plane is out of Philadelphia airspace.
