Watch the SpaceX rocket as it blasts off toward the Moon

A SpaceX rocket has lifted off from Florida, carrying two privately built lunar landers and a micro rover to the Moon.

The uncrewed Falcon 9 launched from the Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday.

Later on Wednesday, SpaceX is expected to conduct the seventh flight test of the Starship rocket. He completed the world premiere last year, after catching part of it on his way back to the launch pad.

This comes days after the launch of Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket was delayed due to a “vehicle subsystem problem”.
