Phoenix -Weekend Schedule, TV information for NASCAR CUP and XFINITY SERIES

In a race known as a championship barometer, the Nascar Cup series will tackle a new turn at Phoenix Raceway this weekend.

Sunday’s 312-Round race contains the debut of option ties on the 1-mile oval. The band was used in last year’s All-Star race at North Wilkesboro Speedway and the August 11, at Richmond Raceway, where it achieved some good reviews of drivers.

Several lobs to use the option ties in the championship race from Phoenix last year, but Goodyear and Nascar chose to wait until this season – with a view to using the option ties in the 2025 seasonal final if they are considered successful.

There is an opportunity for more history this weekend at Phoenix.

Christopher Bell, the defensive winner of the race, is trying to become the first driver to win three consecutive races in the next Genera after the wins over the past two weeks on Circuit of the Americas and Atlanta Motor Speedway.
