Connor Zilisch will lead the field to the Green Flag in Saturday’s Xfinity Series race at Circuit of the American after winning the pole on Friday.
Zilisch, driving for JR Motorsports, won the pole with a shot of 88.832 km / h. This is his second career XFinity Poland.
The 18-year-old Zilisch does double service over the weekend. He will make his cup debut on Sunday.
Ross Chastain starts next to Zilisch on the front row for Saturday’s race to a round of 88.664 km / h.
William Byron qualified for Hendrick Motorsports after a round of 87.951 mph. Justin Allgaier starts fourth with a round of 87.814 mph. Carson Kvapil qualified fifth after a round of 87.729 mph.
Jeremy Clements, who starts his 500th career XFinity, starts 35th in the 38 car field.
