Jaxson Dart achieved a great success at the college level, becoming the first team from all over SEC to perform in 2024.
But in his interview with the media on Friday at The Scouting Combine, he had an answer that could be surprised by some when asked about who would watch Corterbeck now.
“I think it is a little policeman because he just won the Super Bowl, but I love J Hurts and what he is doing,” Dart said, referring to Super Bowl Lix Mvp in Philadelphia, Galin Hurtz. “I feel very similar in my game style. I feel we can do a lot of the same things.
“It is clear that he is the elite player and I try to reach this level. But he was someone who tried to like my game after that just because of its multiple uses – to be able to run and throw the ball, and the extent of his strength in the pocket. This is something I had a lot of fun, and the style of his game.”
He started his university career at the University of Southern California before moving to Oli Miss in 2022. He has no experience sitting on the bench, as he played as a real student before he started for three years in Oli Miss. But he will not face a problem with taking a general sitting and learning if it is.
“I haven’t sat on the bench before. So, this will definitely be an early modification.” “But I do not think that this is something bad at all. I think it is something you can enter a situation and learn as much as possible. Often when you are in this position, (you) play behind the veteran midfielder has achieved a lot of success and knows a ton of the game. Therefore, you should be a sponge. I think often, I have seen some of the most successful Qurtubbere get out of such situations. The late Jordanian.
“I know I can make the room better, I can make a better team. So, I will just be a sponge in any situation I am in it – really, just try to move my game to the next level.”
