AJ Brown: I have a book with me at every game, you just got me today

Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown didn’t have much to do on the field during Sunday’s 22-10 win over the Packers, but his off-field activities still earned him a starring role in the second half of the game.

Fox cameras showed Brown reading a book on the sidelines as the Eagles cruised to victory. Tom was “Inside Excellence” by Jim Murphy, and Brown said he regularly reads from books during games, but he just wasn’t caught doing it until Sunday.

“You just are got me that timeBrown said, via Audacy’s Zach Gelb. “I do that every drive, whether I score a touchdown or drop a pass, I kind of refocus.”

Brown had one catch in the win and said he wasn’t reading the book because he was frustrated with how things were going. He reiterated that he “loves to read” and will have another chance to pick up some balls when the Eagles host a divisional game next week.
