An Olympic kitesurfer of the moment rescues a drowning woman

The video shows the moment Olympic kitesurfer Bruno Lobo rescues a woman who appeared to be drowning in the sea.

The athlete was practicing with a new camera while kitesurfing off the coast of São Luís, Brazil, when he heard someone scream.

Lobo, who is also an orthopedic doctor, helped the woman onto her back and used his kite to bring her to shore.

The woman was seen meeting friends on the shore and leaving the beach. “I only did my duty” and was “in the right place at the right time,” Lobo said in a self-filmed video on Instagram.

The athlete wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to warn people on social networks that “the sea is really very dangerous” and that “the tide can take you out to sea”.
