Smiley, 46 years old, was with Bills since the first year of the first year of Shan Makdirmot as a main coach in 2017.

After working in a variety of roles at the college level, it was the first SMLEY job in positives with Jaguars as a coordinator of the assistant special teams from 2013-2016.
