MANILA, Philippines – In her first privilege speech as a House lawmaker, Mamamayang Liberal Representative Leila de Lima hit President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for his “theatrical” State of the Nation Address.

She said on Monday, August 4, that the President lacked a clear legislative agenda, and failed to address the true state of the nation — one plagued by hunger, scarcity, and neglect.
