Thousands are collected every year 100. Wild horse swim

Chincoteague Wild ponies swim every year during the Astateague channel 100 times. Times.

The tradition began in 1925 and watched “salt water” on horseback on horseback, then swims on the channel and sail to the east of ChinCoteague island.

The events organized by the ChinCoteague Fire Department, which manages the ponies includes some foals.

The raised money helps control the flock size to help maintain a healthy rule population of Assateagu, as the horse live in most years.
