49ers approved a broad receiver Deebo Samuel and his agent, Tory Dandy, permission to find a trading partner, Samuel told Adam Schefter ESPN.
Samuel asked 49ers to trade it during the player’s exit posts after the season.
“It was a hard conversation for Kyle (Shanahan) because of the relationship we have,” Samuel said Schefter. “But I have to do what is best. I am more than grateful for nasers giving me a chance to live, but now I think the best we find another team.”
