Rutgers adds a future playmaker to his offense as a class of 2026 three-star athlete Elias Coke committed to the Scarlet Knights.
Coca-Cola announced its commitment to Rutgers on Wednesday. He is expected to play wide receiver for the Scarlet Knights.
Coca-Cola recently released a list of Rutgers’ top five schools, Miami (FL), Michigan, Lady and Penn Statebut the Scarlet Knights ultimately earned the commitment of the Harrisburg (Pennsylvania) High School athlete.
He will play his college football under the guidance of a head coach Greg Schianooffensive coordinator/running backs coach Kirk Ciarroccawide receivers coach Dave Brock and the rest of the RU staff.
Coke is close with Brock and believes he is someone who can develop him on and off the court. He also has a lot of respect for Schiano. Coke felt that Rutgers made him a priority during the recruiting process.
“My top priority is to find a coach that can develop me to the next level, and I feel like Coach Brock … can do that,” Coke previously told Rivals. “(Coach Schiano) is also a great man and runs a great program.”
He has unofficially visited Piscataway numerous times, his last known visit being in July 2024.
As a junior at Harrisburg during the fall of 2024, the now 6-foot-3, 205-pound Coca-Cola recorded 968 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. He also plays safety and has totaled 47 tackles and five interceptions. Coca-Cola helped lead the Cougars to an 11-3 overall record and multiple playoff wins last season.
Coke ranks as the No. 20 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania and the No. 36 athlete in the 2026 cycle.
In addition to the already mentioned schools, Coca-Cola also received scholarship offers Boston College, Florida State, Iowa State, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan StateMissouri, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Syracuse, UCF, West Virginia, Wisconsin and several others. In total, there are close to 30 offers.
With a coke now in my lap, Rutgers Class of 2026 it doubles from one obligation to two obligations. Both of the Scarlet Knights’ current pledges in the cycle are projected to play wide receiver, as Coca-Cola joined the four-star Dyzier Carter in a group.
